Fish Hawk Trails

Fish Hawk Trails is a community built to appreciate the natural beauty of Florida.  Live Oaks hold Spanish moss in their branches and add southern charm to the community.  Custom-built homes are on half an acre or more of land with large property setbacks and wide streets to give a light and airy feel to the neighborhood.

Fish Hawk Trails was the vision of the late Mr. Glen Cross.  Unlike other communities he developed, Fish Hawk Trails was designed as a conservation development.  This meant adopting principles for protecting the area’s natural environmental features in perpetuity, including preserving open space landscape and vistas, protecting natural habitats for wildlife, and maintaining the character of the rural area.

Fish Hawk Trails is located in Lithia, Florida, Southern Hillsborough County, 35 minutes from downtown Tampa, 45 minutes from Tampa International Airport, 60 minutes from Disney theme parks, and a little over an hour from the beautiful beaches of the west coast of Florida.

The community has 24 hour guarded access to a 400 plus home community and:

• Over 4 miles of paved nature trails that follow the fenced perimeter of the community.  There are 6 miles of trails for our fitness-minded residents crisscrossing 285-acre nature preserve
