A highly-sought-after community in which to live and a popular travel destination.
A slice of the idyllic, sunny Florida lifestyle
South Shore is located on the southern cusp of Hillsborough County, where Tampa Bay city connects with the Gulf of Mexico. This Tampa Bay suburb is known for its sunny disposition, picturesque waterfront homes, and plenty of shopping centers and restaurants. A thriving community, South Shore is both a highly-sought-after community in which to live and a popular travel destination.
South Shore is home to a handful of communities, including Apollo Beach, Ruskin, Riverview, Sun City Center, Gibsonton, and Wimauma.
Spacious waterfront homes are frequently found nestled along pristine, sandy white beaches. As the community has continued to rapidly grow in size, new constructions are also becoming increasingly popular, as residents are drawn to live by the water. Modern, contemporary, and custom homes on palm-tree-lined streets are the norm here.
Like many communities that make up Florida, South Shore is known for its friendly residents, exciting opportunities and restaurants, and easy commute. Located on the outskirts of Tampa, South Shore allows residents to enjoy a laid-back lifestyle with big-city excitement in close proximity.
As one of the fastest-growing communities in the city, South Shore attracts residents from diverse walks of life. However, the communities that make up South Shore are particularly popular among young families and retirees. Families are drawn to the suburban lifestyle, excellent schools, and open spaces, while retirees enjoy the plethora of country clubs in the area.
When it comes to dining and entertainment, these Florida communities have a plethora of options. Ellenton Premium Outlets, located just south of Tampa, comprises over 130 stores, ranging from upscale designer shops to local, unique boutiques. You can also find an abundance of restaurants here to refuel you after you shop until you drop.

Whether you’re craving lobster grilled cheese or pistachio-encrusted scallops, you can find that (and much more!) here.
